Lancool Mid Tower-Chassis

To kick-off the review on the chassis, the front panel provides ample room for airflow through its side build mesh like structure. Both the vents are ARG backlit and filtered inlets for the front fans. The lighting can be controlled via the I/O buttons or the motherboard software. This feature alone makes it the Best cheapest Gaming PC Case because it is mostly found in more expensive cases. There are two magnetic fan filters inside the front panel. There is a magnetic filter for the top cooling as well. Next on top the I/O is up front running.

On the side panel the glass occupies most of it. The lower panel comprises minor ventilation for heat elimination purposes and being decorative. The rear of this case provides plenty of space for cable management. This is clearly visible because of the gap between the rear cable management panel and the start of the I/O shield cutout.

The pre-installed rear fan can be seen in this layout. All seven expansion slots possess ventilated covers. The bottom of the Lancool is all metal except for the four stands. There is a large removable and cleanable dust filter to minimize dust ingestion by the power supply.

Interior and Cooling

Did we mention that the case uses spring pins to connect the front panel lighting. This way you don’t have to plug-off anything while taking off the front panel. Inside is plenty of room for expansion cards, PSU, GPU, Storage etc. From underside the triple HDD slots are visible which can support up to three 3.5″ drives or 2.5″ drives depending on your needs.

There are several pass through holes to the mounting tray for the front cooling fans. The top of the Lancool has several mounting points for fans and radiators. If the radiator is settled more towards the glass panel you can have more room for the motherboard and RAM.

The majority of the PSU plate has built-in holes for better ventilation and fans can be set up here as well. The rear cable management side panel covers all your cables. Controversially the SSD bays are not covered so you can show ’em off pretty well. Another standout feature is the inclusion of a panel on the CPU cutout which allows you to hide your RGB/Fan wiring. The clearance between the HDD cage and the PSU is excellent.

Front panel cables

  • HD audio header
  • SATA power for RGB- controller
  • USB 3.0 cable feeds
  • Power reset and power LED headers.
  • 3-pin ARGB cable

The accessories include all necessary screws for the 3.5 mounting, PSU mounting, Motherboard. Also includes velcro taps, zip ties for cable management.

Consumer Feedback

Most gamers are astounded to interact with these specs at a cost less than $100. This CPU case supports E-ATX motherboards which is mostly possible with high-end corsair CPU cases. Most people say that this should be priced at least at $150 given what it has to offer.

Overall this CPU case provides nothing but immense value for such a low cost. With its added cable management panels, good I/O management, better ventilation and air flow, enough interior space for your customization you really don’t need second thoughts for this purchase. In fact we believe that this is the best budget gaming PC case under $100.

Drifting off from Best and Cheapest Gaming PC Case qualifiers. Just an additional inclusion and certainly not the cheapest. This is only for the ones who have deep pockets and want to go all out, premium fancy on their gaming rig. It is the upgraded version of the original cosmos c700p. Even supporting multiple configurations and high end internals.

The flat radiator bracket offers better support for liquid cooling. And the curved tempered glass side panel offers a clear wide angle view. The cable cover system is on point with the 3 included covers that can be placed on three different locations of the case. Again this is added extravagance and not everyone needs these types of peripherals for a good gaming rig.
